To ensure the best performance, appearance and safety of your BALLAB candle, please follow the care instructions below.

1. Concrete & Metal Candles

Before each burn, trim the wick to approx. 5 mm.

During the first burn, allow the wax surface to melt evenly to the edges of the vessel. This helps prevent tunnelling.

Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

Concrete and metal vessels may become hot during use. Allow the candle to cool completely before touching or moving it.

Keep the wax free from wick trimmings, matches or other debris.

Discontinue use when approx. 10 mm of wax remains at the bottom.

Never use water to extinguish the flame. Use a candle snuffer or carefully blow out the flame.

Concrete Material Characteristics

Concrete is a natural porous material, therefore slight traces of wax may occasionally appear on the surface.

Each vessel is sealed and protected. Wax does not penetrate through the form.

2. Sculptural / Freestanding Candles

Place the candle on a heat-resistant tray or plate before lighting.

As each sculptural candle burns differently depending on shape and environment, wax dripping may occur.

Never place directly on furniture, wood, fabric or delicate surfaces.

Trim wick to approx. 5 mm before lighting.

Do not burn near drafts, curtains or direct sunlight.

Always extinguish before leaving the room.

3. General Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Keep away from children and pets.

Keep candles at least 10 cm apart.

Do not burn near flammable materials.

Do not move a candle while burning or while wax is liquid.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Never burn a candle near open windows, fans or strong air currents.

Drafts may cause uneven burning, smoking or excessive flame movement.

4. Fragrance Sensitivity

BALLAB candles are made using certified wax and fragrance materials. However, individual sensitivity or intolerance to scented products may occur.

If you experience discomfort, headache, dizziness, irritation or any unusual reaction, extinguish the candle immediately, ventilate the room and discontinue use.

Use in a well-ventilated space.

5. Reuse of Vessel

Once fully cooled, remaining wax may be removed gently. Concrete and metal vessels can be reused as decorative objects.
